Anchor, High Street, Burton Bradstock
Hosts, Paul and Tracy, together with their Manager, Andrea, have been running The Anchor Inn at Burton Bradstock since November 2011. Andrea was born and brought up in Burton Bradstock and could not wait to get back to The Anchor as she had worked there when she was 13! She was very keen to move back to the village and to be the Manager was like a dream come true. Paul and Tracy successfully ran The George Inn in Chideock for six years before moving on to The West Bay Hotel in West Bay where they have been for nearly three years happily fulfilling their ambition to offer excellent locally produced food and attentive friendly service. They now intend to continue this ambition with The Anchor, Burton Bradstock in addition to The West Bay Hotel.
Head Chefs Chris Smith and Steph Paynter worked with Paul and Tracy at The West Bay Hotel for the last 3 years and are heading up the kitchen choosing a young, vibrant menu using only fresh local produce.
