About the Trust.
Formed in 2005, The Trust took over the administration and maintenance of the Village Hall from the W.I. who had it built in the 1930’s.
The objective of the Trust is to run and maintain the Hall for the benefit of the Village and those who live in it.
About the Hall.
Built in 1931, the Hall is the mainstay of most Village activities that require space or fund-raising activities to operate.
The Hall can accommodate up to 120 people in a range of formats and is regularly used for activities such as presentations, charity lunches and dinners, amateur dramatics, film nights, bridge, art classes, Yoga brownies, badminton, quizzes and coffee mornings.
It is well equipt with all the tables, chairs, kitchen equipment and audio systems to accommodate virtually any need.
Booking the Hall.
The Hall is let in morning, afternoon or evening time slots at very reasonable rates.

The Trust Committee run several very popular events during the year.
Spring Quiz with fish & chip supper. (2019 date Sat 27th April)
Spring Fayre- A traditional Village Fayre with stalls, games, cream teas etc (2019 date Bank Holiday Monday 27th May)
Christmas Market & Coffee Morning (2019 date Sat 7th Dec)
Christmas Quiz -hugely popular (2019 date Sat 14th Dec)
Film nights-popular film and glass of wine for £5 (2019 dates 29th March,26th April, 24th May, 27th Sep, 25th Oct,29th Nov)
All of these events will have details publicised via posters around the Village shortly before they happen.
