Burton Bradstock Village Hall Trust (BBVHT) AGM – Wednesday 18 January 2012

The seventh BBVHT Annual General Meeting will be held in Burton Bradstock Village Hall on Wednesday 18 January 2012 @ 8.00 pm.  This is a public meeting so please come along, hear all about the Village Hall Trust’s past year and plans for the future and enjoy a glass of wine and nibbles.  Anyone who is resident in the village and who would like to stand as an Independent Member of the Committee should give their name in writing, along with the names of a Proposer and Seconder, to Audrey Smith before 10 January 2012 (Phone Number 01308 897227).

Quiz Night with Fish and Chip Supper – Saturday 21 April 2012

It is hoped that once again there will be a Quiz Night in Burton Bradstock Village Hall on Saturday 21 April so please put this date in your diary.  Either bring along a team of 8, or join a team on the night and enjoy not only a fun quiz but also a Fish and Chip Supper. Ticket cost (yet to be set) will include the Fish and Chip supper.  Further details will follow in the March edition.

Burton Bradstock Diamond Jubilee Celebration – June 2012

The Diamond Jubilee Committee is pleased with the way plans are progressing for the Village celebrations of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.  These will begin with the Spring Concert in the Village Hall on Friday evening 1 June, organized by the Music Festival Committee with the concert led by David Juritz.  On Saturday 2 June the Museum Village Bus will come to the Village Hall and the Dorset Community Action Van will provide entertainment for young and old.  A Party on the beach is being planned for the evening and other events will take place on the Sunday, Monday (Village Fayre) and Tuesday led by various groups in the Village.  Watch this space for more details as plans develop.
