BURTON BRADSTOCK PLAYERS

After managing to put on 3 productions last year, the Players are now all fired up and getting ready for our Pantomime, “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves”.  Mike Read is once again directing and he has assembled a good cast including a number of children.   This panto has all the usual ingredients and we trust audiences will hiss and boo and cheer and enter truly into the spirit of the show.

Performance dates will be Monday to Saturday, February 20th – 25th, at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall, with a matinee at 2.00 pm on Saturday 25th.   Box Office opens on Saturday 21st January at Burton Bradstock Post Office or please telephone Barbara Powell on 01308 897389.  Ticket prices are £7 for adults, £5 for under-16s.

It looks as though we will be taking things a little more quietly the rest of this year as we have no other productions planned at the time of writing.   However, other activities are in the pipeline for June and July so, as they say, watch this space!

We always need new members of any age and if you are interested in joining Burton Bradstock Players, please get in touch.  Those who prefer to remain out of the limelight and backstage are more than welcome too!

We hope you enjoy looking at some of our photos from past productions.
