ARCHAEOLOGICAL NOTES AND NEWS FOR 1959

MISCELLANEOUS DISCOVERIES AND ACCESSIONS.

A Romano-British site at the mouth of the Bride, Burton Bradstock. Capt. Cobham informs me that some years ago he observed much coarse black Romano-British pottery in the low cliff on the east side of the stream at SY 479895.

Investigation is now difficult owing to the presence of a caravan site, but he suggests the existence of a settlement around the mouth of the river.
