Silver Jubilee 7th June, 1977. Among the
celebrations were a tea party for all the village children,
donkey and chaise rides and a parade of floats. All the children
of school age were given inscribed mugs and a Jubilee Medal
paid for by the Village Society. From the look of the pictures,
it was a great fun day!

The Cubs.
The Misses Knightsmiths
of Norburton House made themselves responsible for building
up a highly successful and enterprising Cub pack in the village.
So successful was it that
it grew to cover the whole of the Bride Valley.
