Conditions for

BurtonBradstockOnLine DIGITAL PHOTO COMPETITION 2009:

Selected digital photos will be displayed on

Burton Bradstock ONLINE's PHOTO GALLERY

as the competition progresses.

Prizes: £265 to be won!!   Three prizes in each category:

• Adults:                    Three prizes - £100, £50 and £25
• Under 16s:             £50, £25 & £15 (must be under 16 at 16th Sept. 2009 and supply their date of birth with their entries)
  
  

Topic: “The Humorous or Unusual in Burton Bradstock”.   This should encourage creativity and, we hope, will be lots of fun.

QUALITY & ORIGINALITY will score highest points!!




• Entries accepted - 1 January to 16th September 2009 inclusive
• Open to anyone, anywhere, including holiday makers, visitors etc., but excluding Burton Bradstock ONLINE & Burton Bradstock Village Web Site Committee members.
• Max number of pictures - 10 per person
• Photographs must be original work of the sender & be taken after 1st January 2009 in Burton Bradstock.‘Burton Bradstock’ means the parish of Burton Bradstock and up to 1 km outside the parish boundary including the sea.
• Under 16s must be under 16 at 16th Sept. 2009 and supply their date of birth with their entries.
•   A selection of the best photos submitted will be added to Burton Bradstock ONLINE PHOTO GALLERY on our web site as the competition progresses throughout 2008.
• All photos submitted must be in JPEG format with a maximum resolution of
  3 megapixels (maximum dimensions of 2000 x 1500 pixels). Photos can be in black/white or in colour.
• The webmaster reserves the right not to publish any photos for any reason.
• Photographs must be original work of the sender
• Conditions may be subject to change
• Fewer prizes may be offered if not justified by the number or quality of entries
• The judges' decision is final.
  

 

  
• Applicants must:
•   send an e-mail attaching each photo to our special e-mail address (photocomp@virgin.net) - only one photo per e-mail please.
•   include in your email the following details:  

  

a) The title of the submitted / attached photo in not more than ten words.

b)Details of where the photo was taken. in the Parish.

c) Your full name, address and contact telephone number

d) Please include your age and date of Birth if you are under 16 with your entries.

  

  
• Accept that by submitting and e-mailing your photo to us, you hereby acknowledge that Burton Bradstock ONLINE and the Burton Bradstock Village Web Site Committee have the right to:
  

  

a) display your photo on-line or off-line, or make copies of your photo on CD or DVD or in any digital or print medium or format for non-commercial use, without any compensation or payment of royalties to you.

b) include your photo in any format for commercial use subject to the payment of a royalty to you which will be negotiated in good faith. Any royalty for commercial use will be shared equally among all owners of photos included in the commercial product or work.

c) Burton Bradstock ONLINE will acknowledge ownership of all photographs submitted and will include your name and the photo title alongside your photo.
